OUR STORY
We are called to serve our Savior Jesus.
A few falls ago I was working a part time job at a farm in Colorado. My favorite position was taking care of their goats and 2 alpacas. I spent about 6 weeks at this farm, and I fell in love with these amazing creatures. I came home every day talking the ear off my husband about these alpacas. Over the next couple of years, I began to pray and ask God for the direction and purpose he has for our lives. In 2022 our kids graduated high school, my husband wanted to come back home to northern Michigan. Through prayer and discussion, we agreed that God has decided for us to move and that is when our adventure begins.
ABOUT DIVINE PURPOSE ALPACA FARM
Divine Purpose Alpaca Farm is Jesus focused and dedicated to high quality care and production of fiber. We are located in beautiful northern Michigan. On our farm we utilize what God says as the best practices to keep our alpacas and other animals happy and healthy. Every component of our farm is with purpose and intention. Each animal has a job to contribute to the farm. As a result, we are able to enhance the development of the finest quality of fiber. We stand on the foundation of God's great commission to spread the good news! Were we have the amazing opportunity to meet farm visitors, offer home school programs and private tours.
Our farm consists of 6 male huacaya alpacas. Each one of our alpacas has a unique personality that adds to the fun and excitement of our farm. Our two great Pyrenees guardian dogs are always on the job protecting the alpaca herd and other animals on the farm. Our ducks who add a fun and quirky accent while they forge for insects around the farm. Our newest additions are our Easter lambs Elon, Enoch, and Elijiah. They will assist us in many areas to include lawn care,
God has blessed us with the privilege to care for these amazing animals. Come out and meet our crew, hope to see you soon!
